Disaster Recovery & Community Rebuilding
When a severe storm or flood impacts a community, the recovery continues long after the immediate emergency has passed. Families may return to damaged homes with unsafe living conditions, damaged belongings, and months of difficult rebuilding ahead. For elderly residents, single parents, and families with limited resources, even basic repairs can become overwhelming. They may have the motivation to rebuild but lack the time, tools, physical support, or financial resources needed to restore their homes. Rebuild Together brings volunteers and local community members together to help families recover and rebuild. Volunteers will assist with home cleanup, debris removal, minor repairs, painting, organizing donated supplies, and restoring shared community spaces. The goal is to help 50 homes recover while giving local volunteers a meaningful way to support families in need.
